My previous research involves instructional design of teaching Chinese as a foreign language (TCFL), the functions of Confucius Institute and China's soft power building.

Nowadays I mostly teach conversation courses of Chinese language on various levels, including the conversation classes in Chinese Language course and the course of Politics of China (China Studies Content Course with Language).

I use ‘hybrid approach’ for my teaching. This approach is developed by my research and teaching experience. It is designed to be highly flexible and adaptable according to student’s level, study goal and individual learning style.

I have rich experience in online teaching and teaching business Chinese.
