World Heritage Site at al Zubarah opens to public

"The World Heritage site at Al Zubarah was declared open to the public with effect from Friday December 13 2013 by Abdulla bin Khalifa al Attiya, member of the board of Qatar Museums Authority (QMA), at a function held at Zubara Fort on Thursday."
Sådan skrev Qatar Tribune søndag den 14. december om åbningen af det arkæologiske site, som ToRS har ledet udgravningen af og og som i sommers kom på UNESCO’s liste over verdenskulturarv. (Se også Københavns Universitets udgravning i Qatar bliver verdenskulturarv).
