Jeg er ansat som Studieadjunkt på Indianske sprog og kulturer og varetager primært undervisning i kulturkurserne, men også i maya hieroglyffer. Jeg har en bredspektret interesse i de mesoamerikanske kulturer og benytter særligt disciplinerne ikonografi, epigrafik, arkæologi og etnohistorie som forståelsesramme for disse. Mit speciale udgjorde et komparativt studie af kropsbemaling blandt flere mesoamerikanske kulturer og netop denne komparative tilgang til de præcolumbianske indianske kulturer har været et nøgleelement af min forskning.
